It is rather sad not comical that one needs a license to raise a reptile - yet one does not receive any such piece of laminate to remind parents of their prime role as care-taker.
and it is a sad time when the RSPCA has more active legislation than DOCS!
but please people! Don't blame our welfare workers, for they are limited by governing policies and lack of funding! Many workers are on contracts that pay a pitence, some below the poverty line with little or no job security.
Their conditions are a reminder of how important it is to DEFEND YOUR WORKING RIGHTS!
